Why Cybernun?
Cybernun is Sister Rose Hoover, a Sister of the Cenacle.
Saint Therese Couderc, the co-founder of the
Sisters of the Cenacle,
wrote: "My heart embraces the whole world."
When she said this in the 19th century, she could embrace the world
through her prayer and also through her spiritual ministry, which was
necessarily rather geographically limited.
Today, Saint Therese might well have been a
cybernun, embracing the world through the internet. Sister
Rose, one of her 21st-century daughters, is trying to do just that.
